A Beach Wood Estate sits right on the ocean (see map) in Ocean Park, Washington, about 8 miles North of Long Beach, Washington.
Start your exploring close to home. Near Beach Wood Estate on the main highway is the Long Beach, Wa Peninsula Antiques and Trading Post. Whether you are buying or just looking, it is worth a visit as there are always intriguing treasures to uncover. Also nearby is Jimella’s Seafood Market and Cafe for the best clam chowder on the peninsula.
While most visitors head right to Long Beach, there is much to discover a few miles north in Ocean Park. This is a one stoplight town, with only one short commercial street that runs East to West. Take some time to search out the restaurants, a couple of very quirky antique stores, a large grocery store, a brand new coffee shop, the local bars, a pizza place and more.
We recommend breakfast or lunch at The Full Circle Café, run by Coleen and Gary. This is a local favorite, and is located right on the Ocean Park beach approach. The home-made burgers, clam chowder, sandwiches and desserts are all delicious and a great value. In the same building is a very popular yarn shop for those who enjoy needlecrafts.
We also recommend The Dunes for breakfast. It is an inexpensive diner, again a good value and local favorite.
