The Mandell Family grew up in Chicago not far from the shores of Lake Michigan.  They loved the sand and the water.  They loved picnicking at the beach and flying kites in the famous Chicago wind.  They loved the rain and the thunder and lightning.  They did not like the snow and the sleet and the wind chill factor.  As soon as they could they pulled up stakes and moved to California.  They found a place near San Diego where there was sand and water and wonderful weather but not much wind.

Then one day they happened upon a place where there was sand and water and wind to fly kites.  There was rain and almost no snow or sleet or wind chill factor.  They fell in love with Long Beach, Washington and spent many happy years picnicking and kite flying and building sand castles. 

Now the Mandell Family is spread all over and can’t spend anywhere near the amount of time they would like at the beach.  They come when they can and in between times they offer a chance for others to come to the beach, relax, and enjoy the sand, the picnics, the wind and flying kites. They sincerely hope you enjoy their beach front vacation rental as much as they do.

Aaron is a very special someone who never got to come to the beach but is in our hearts whenever we are there.
