Q: Does the Admiral House have a view?

A: Yes. There is a fabulous ocean view from the top floor and from the wrap around decks on the 2nd and 3rd floors.

Q: How far is it to the beach from the Admiral House?

A: Seven minute walk on a beautiful private path.

Q: How well stocked is the kitchen?

A: There are two kitchens, a fully stocked kitchen on the third floor and a kitchenette on the first floor. The second floor has a wet bar near the pool table.

Q: Does the Admiral House have internet access?

A: High speed wireless internet is available.

Q: What is the bed configuration in the Admiral House?

A: Top floor: a queen in the master bedroom and a set of bunk beds in a smaller bedroom.
Middle floor: two bedrooms that each has a queen bed.
There is also a hide-a-bed in the living room.
Bottom floor: two bedrooms that each has a queen bed.

Q: Is there a dish washer in the Admiral House?

A: Yes, in the kitchen on the top floor.

Q: What laundry facilities does the Admiral House have?

A: There is a large laundry room on the middle floor with washer and dryer. There is an additional washer and dryer set on the bottom floor.

Q: Is there a table large enough for several people to eat together?

A: The top floor has two dining tables side by side that can each accommodate 6 people.

Q: How close to downtown Long Beach is the Admiral House?

A: About a fifteen minute drive.

Q: Are there any stores nearby?

A: Two miles to Ocean Park where there is Jack's Country Store and a Thriftway. Fifteen minutes to Long Beach where there is Sid's Market, an IGA store.
Just across the river there is a Safeway in Astoria and a Fred Meyer and Costco in Warrenton.

Q: Are linens and towels provided?

A: Yes.

Q: Is there a cleaning fee?

A: $195

Q: Is the cleaning fee refundable if we leave the house really clean?

A: No. 100% of the cleaning fees go to cleaning the homes.

On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being very clean) on our guest feedback forms, we typically rate 9.7. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee this level of cleanliness if guests cleaned on their own.

Q: Are pets allowed in the Admiral House?

A: Yes.

Q: Is there any additional cost if we bring pets?

A: $20/night per pet

Q: Is a reservation fee required?

A: $500

Q: Do we pay the balance when we come?

A: No. The balance is due four weeks prior to check in.

Q: How soon can we check in?

A: 4pm

Q: How soon do we have to be out on our check out day?

A: By 11:00 am

Q: Is my reservation deposit refundable?

A: The reservation deposit will be refunded minus a $25 cancellation fee if cancellation occurs before four weeks prior to check-in date.

Q: Do you require a damage deposit?

A: Your credit card that is on file will serve as your security/damage deposit.

Q: After final payment has been made, will it be refunded if I cancel?

A: It will not be refunded unless we are able to re-rent the house.

Q: Does the Admiral House have a fireplace?

A: A propane fireplace.

Q: Does the Admiral House have a barbecue?

A: A large propane barbecue on the second floor deck.

Q: Does the Admiral House have a recreation room?

A: There is ping pong, air hockey, and a TV/DVD player in the bottom floor recreation room. Newly added on the second floor is a Goldenwest 8' Slate pool table and large flat screen TV with a new Xbox and extra video games..

Q: Does the Admiral House have TVs?

A: Yes, 7 in all. 4 of the 6 bedrooms have TVs and 3 more in the common areas.

Q: Is there anything in the house for babies?

A: A pack-n-carry with bedding, a high chair, and a stroller.
