Sam and I came to the Long Beach Peninsula about 15 years ago as vendors in the Kite Festival.  Being from Iowa, we had never seen things like kite festivals, oyster beds, razor clamming, sturgeon, or many of the everyday things here.  As we came north every spring we would always find ourselves remarking how beautiful it is here, how much healthier we eat here, how much more we walk and exercise here and generally feel so good and much more rested.  It’s truly a great place for friends, family and relaxation.  Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.  We hope you find some nice fresh herbs in the gardens as the more you snip the more they grow.  That is, if you can beat the deer to them!
